Israel Food Rescue
Israel Food Rescue is a nonpolitical and religiously pluralistic mission that aims to aid needy Israeli farmers and protect Israel's food security. They have over 300 volunteers from over 17 countries who contribute a total of 10,800 volunteer hours. Volunteers participate in missions ranging from 5 days to 5 weeks, where they help with tasks such as picking, planting, sorting, and packing fruits and vegetables.
Israel Food Rescue has received positive feedback from the farmers they assist. Chen Saidi, a farmer at Busan HaDarom, expressed gratitude for their help when there was no one else available. Tomer Moherman, owner of Meshek Moherman, compared Israel Food Rescue's efforts to the hope symbolized in the national anthem.
To provide more information for interested participants, Israel Food Rescue offers a detailed Participant Packet on their website. This packet covers various aspects of participating in their missions including what to expect during the mission, accommodations provided, meals provided, transportation arrangements, and more.
